Steam Client Bootstrapper causes Lag
Sometimes then playing or not playing the process 'Steam Client Bootstrapper' just starts running, if I am playing a game, it causes lag/performence drops.
I checked this for all games and yes my Laptop can run these games.
I googled on this topic and found a post from 2012 with the same issue, so I assume that this problem wasn't payed attention.
Anyone experiences the same problem?
Any ideas/solutions for this problem?

Go to your steam folder. Delete everything except for steam.exe and the steamapps folder.
Launch steam >>> it will update >>> login.
Post back here for feedback.

First off thanks for the suggestion, my files are already 2 years old and I probably should have done that some time ago.
Now I can't tell if the process 'Steam Client Bootstrapper' still gives me performence issues yet, I'll post here in about a 24 hours again.

No problem, you performed the clean re-install right?
